Peshawar, Provincial doctor association has staged protest against the kidnapping of doctors in Peshawar on Thursday. 150 doctors from Lady Reading Hospital, Hayat Abad Medical Complex and Hayat Teaching Hospital participated in demonstration.

Demonstration staged in Hayat Teaching Hospital on Jamrud Road near Peshawar University. They hold the banners, in which they write their demand. Demonstration staged under the banner of Provincial Doctor Association (PDA). The leaders of the PDA shout against the provincial Government and minister health.

Doctors came out from hospital and they block the road for one hour, police were present during demonstration. Talking to the media the provincial doctor association president Shah Sawar condemns the action of Kidnapping of doctor. He said that current government not serious to give security to doctors, that why every week doctor kidnapped from the city.  Shah Sawar said that cream of the society worried about their future. He said that Provincial Government stops the stipend of doctors. Doctors were facing problem because their stipend stop.

They demand from the government to gives security to doctors and start the stipend of the doctor otherwise the PDA will call for boycott from hospital and no doctor attend the hospital in boycott.
