Khasa Dar force fired at 4 school children in the tribal agency

Bara – Security forces have fired on school students who were protesting against the electricity load shedding at Mulla Gori area on Monday morning.

According to local sources, more than 250 students of 3 different schools were on strike today in Khyber agency.  They started protesting in the marble Chowk area of Mulla Gori of Khyber agency.

They protested against the political administration and the elders of the area, who they said give supplies only to marble factories, depriving local people of electricity.

The huge protest of Bach Gul Khan, Awa Khan and Ping Lalma schools blocked the road, and during their protest the Khasa Dar force started firing on school children.  The firing hurt 4 school children and made students angry in the area, they attacked the check post of the marble Chowk.  Injured students were shifted to Lady Reading hospital, Peshawar for medical aid.

The political administration tried to hide the incident, and as of now no one has been detained in incident.  It is a reminder that more than 200 marble factories function at Mulla Gori area of tribal agency and they all receive electricity, but somehow the local people don’t have electricity.
